Hi! I'm Fabio, a robotics engineer working on embodied intelligence and mobile robotics. I'm currently starting my PhD at Stanford University in the Autonomous Systems Lab (ASL) with Marco Pavone, in close collaboration with UC Berkeley (S. Shankar Sastry's group). My current focus is the DARPA TIAMAT project. Before Stanford I earned my MSc at ETH Zürich, with research at ETH's Robotic Systems Lab and UZH's Robotics & Perception Group; my master's thesis, Bridging Agentic Reasoning and Structured Execution: A Behavior-Tree VLM Framework and a Fidelity-Ladder Benchmark for Embodied Agents (6.0), was carried out at Stanford. Earlier, a BSc in Cybernetic Engineering at the University of Stuttgart built my foundation in control theory and dynamical systems. My research centers on task-level autonomy, world modeling, and reinforcement learning, applied to mobile robotics and search & rescue.
